Middlehurst Station is a family-run high-country farm located in inland Marlborough. Initially engaged to help promote their direct-to-consumer merino lamb business, we identified an opportunity to develop a broader brand strategy that could unify the station’s growing range of offerings, from premium meat sales to accommodation, walking trails, and merino wool production.

We developed a comprehensive brand identity and architecture that brought these operations together under a single, cohesive vision. The goal was to create a brand that felt both timeless and rugged, reflecting the character of the landscape and the family behind it.

At the centre of the identity is a simple mark inspired by Mount Lookout, the defining peak within the station’s surrounding ranges. This is paired with a restrained colour palette, classic serif typography, and photography that captures the scale and beauty of the land. The result is a refined yet understated brand system that allows the landscape and products to speak for themselves, while creating a strong and recognisable foundation for the future of Middlehurst Station.
